Community involvement

Our preschool values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through many and varied ways. Your time and support help make our preschool a better place for everyone.

Parent and Teacher Meetings

At the beginning of the year and half way through the year the teachers make time to meet individually with each family. We love you to make an appointment to meet with your child's teacher to share important information about your child, discuss their progress and development and help set future goals for their learning and involvement in our program.

Volunteer at our school

Helping out at preschool is a great way to get involved in your school community.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• helping at Bush School
• helping supervise excursions
• coming in to preschool to share about your families culture and cultural or religious celebrations
• coming in to preschool to share your skills and hobbies such as an interesting job, playing a musical instrument, sharing your home language
• helping or sharing your knowledge and skills in our extra curricular programs such cooking, science, art or music

The teachers share stories and photos about the teaching and learning that is happening across each week. Keep up to date by regularly checking the Kinderloop app or set up notifications so you never miss a new post. We love hearing from you and your child about the impact out preschool program is having on your child, what's happening in your family or to communicate with your educators about their development and involvement in our program.
