In 2010 we opened our Toy Library to support and assist children's learning and readiness for school. The toys in our Toy Library are focused on literacy, numeracy and fine motor development.
The library is open 3 times a term and families can borrow the games for two weeks. One of the purposes of the library is to support learning through play at home.
The games have been carefully selected to develop concepts and skills that are developmentally appropriate and support readiness for school.
The games in the toy library are the same as the games in the classroom. The educators have been introducing and playing the games with the children during the day.
